Great place for reunions with restrooms and plenty of parking. Rodburn Hollow Park - 2 picnic shelters, volleyball and horseshoe pit. There is a viewing platform, additional wetlands trail and fishing access to Scott Creek. Shallow Flats Wildlife Viewing Area - original restoration site for giant Canada geese on Cave Run Lake. Instead hunters must use muzzle-loading firearms, bows or crossbows to hunt and harvest wild game. Pioneer Weapons Wildlife Management Area - 7,610 acre tract has been designated where hunting with modern breech-loading firearms is prohibited. People come to backpack, camp, picnic, rock climb and enjoy the tranquility. Recreational opportunities, wildlife, water, timber and wilderness are the major uses of the Forest. The grounds gives visitors excellent bird and wildlife viewing opportunities. Clark Fish Hatchery - One of the largest state owned warm water fish hatcheries in the nation with largemouth bass, striped bass, walleye and crappie. Visitors are likely to see wood ducks, Canada geese, mallards, herons, hooded mergansers, osprey and bald eagles. Tent Area is capacity of 60 and overnight use with fire rings, tent pads, horseshoes, flush toilets and showers. The East Area's capacity is 100 and is overnight or day use with a pavillion, grills, flush toilets and showers, horseshoes, boat dock and tent pads. The West Area's capacity is 180 and is day use only with pavillion, grills, flush toilets, horseshoes, volleyball and softball. RV sites are available and boats may be anchored near many campsites. Campground is surrounded by the lake and mountains. Boats are permitted outside the swimming area and a ramp is provided. Twin Knobs Recreation Area - Spectacular view of the lake at the beautiful beach which has a swimming area. Paved boat ramp, beach, and lakeside sites. Paved roads and level graveled site pads. Campground store with ice, firewood, camp gear and food in facility. Hot showers, telephone service, some electric hookups. Mostly shaded campground on 8,300 acre lake. Zilpo Recreational Area - March - October. Accessible chemical toilets available April - October. Stoney Cove Recreation Area at Cave Run Lake - picnic sites, trailhead and parking for the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail. Three picnic areas found around the lake are: Billy Branch with 23 picnic sites, Boat Gunnel Branch, and High Bank Picnic Area that has 18 shaded picnic sites.
